Welcome
Welcome to the CSMS Music Website. The Music Program includes the Band under the Direction of Luis Piccinelli, Orchestra and Chorus Under the direction of Monica Steinbrech, and Color Guard under the direction of Erin Henningson. The Program currently provides music, voice and dance instruction for approximately 300 students in grades 6-8.
CSMS students participate in several public events annually, including concerts, parades and competitions. In addition, they perform for annual MPA ratings and are encouraged to compete for all-county and all-state positions in band, jazz band and orchestra. Many of our students also perform in the Solo & Ensemble competition. CSMS will be the host school for the Broward County Solo & Ensemble Festival in 2010.
